1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: name, mobile number, email address, and sign-in identifiers (including Sign in with Apple or Google) when you create an account.
- Profile information: optional details you add, such as your preferred language, areas of interest (e.g., career, relationships, confidence), and preferences.
- Conversation content: messages you exchange with coaches during sessions, session notes, ratings, and reviews you submit.
- Support communications: information you share when you contact our support team.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, IP address, time zone, crash logs, and how you interact with the Platform (screens viewed, features used, session times).
- Identifiers: device identifiers and, where you consent, advertising identifiers.
Information we do not collect
We do not ask for, and you should not share, government identification numbers, financial account passwords, or health records. We never see your full card details — payments are processed by the app store or our payment partners (see Section 5).
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and provide coaching sessions;
- To match you with relevant coaches based on the area you select and your preferences;
- To enable our coaches to provide you continuity across sessions (a coach can see your conversation history with them);
- To process purchases, free-session credits, and refunds;
- To maintain safety and quality — including reviewing conversations that are reported, flagged by our safety systems, or sampled for quality assurance;
- To improve the Platform, develop new features, and train and improve the tools that assist our coaches (see Section 3);
- To send service communications (session updates, receipts, policy changes) and, with your consent, promotional messages you can opt out of anytime;
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. AI-assisted coaching
To provide this assistance, conversation content may be processed by our AI systems and trusted technology providers acting on our instructions. We apply safeguards to this processing, including access controls and contractual confidentiality obligations. Where we use conversation data to improve these tools, we take steps to de-identify it first.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With your coach: the coach you choose can see your first name, the area you selected, and your conversation with them;
- Within our corporate group: with our parent company InstaAstro and group companies, for the purposes described in this policy and subject to equivalent protections;
- With service providers: hosting, analytics, communications, payment (including Xpay), and AI-tooling providers who process data on our behalf under contract;
- For safety and legal reasons: where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, coaches, the public, or Trishona;
- In a business transfer: if we merge, are acquired, or sell assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
5. Payments
Payments on the Platform are processed by Xpay, our third-party payment gateway, which offers payment methods including Apple Pay, debit cards, and other options available in your region. Your payment details are collected and processed directly by Xpay in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable payment-security standards; we do not store your full card details and receive only transaction confirmations and the information needed to credit your account, issue receipts, and handle refunds. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy available on the Platform.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes above. Conversation content is retained while your account is active so your coach can maintain continuity, and for a limited period afterwards for safety, dispute-resolution, and legal compliance, after which it is deleted or de-identified. You can request earlier deletion as described in Sections 8 and 9.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure, so please protect your login credentials and contact us immediately at support@trishona.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
8. Your rights & choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, port, or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Indian users have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the rights to access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, and to nominate another person to exercise these rights.
You can exercise these rights in the app (Settings → Privacy) or by writing to support@trishona.in. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law. You can opt out of promotional communications through the unsubscribe link, in-app settings, or by replying STOP to SMS.
9. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion removes your profile and conversation history from active systems; unused session credits are handled according to our Terms of Use, and limited records may be retained where the law requires.
10. Children
The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at support@trishona.in and we will delete it.
11. Important note on coaching, safety & crisis situations
Trishona provides personal coaching for self-improvement. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and our coaches do not provide therapy or medical care. If you share content indicating a risk of harm to yourself or others, we may surface crisis resources and helpline information to you, and where we believe there is a serious and imminent threat, we may make disclosures permitted by law to prevent harm.
12. International data transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in India and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where we transfer data across borders, we do so in accordance with applicable law and with appropriate safeguards in place.
13. Cookies & similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure site performance, and, with consent where required, for marketing. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
14. Grievance Officer
In accordance with applicable Indian law, you may contact our Grievance Officer with any concerns about this policy or our handling of your data:

15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
